Admitting You Have A Problem

Proving unsustainable farming practices and being able to convince industry and politicians of the destructive ways of these practices, are two different animals. And this is why I shall use my blogs many topics and posts, to educate and be used as evidence against gvt to force a change in this, and other, faulty regulations and poor legislations.

Making the decision to transition to an organic farm is a difficult one indeed, and is not done until all other options have been completely exhausted, but the will to carry on exists. I have found myself in this exact position and should my results be positive (as a few are seemingly suggesting they will be), a case against the dept of agriculture will, or probably should, be brought so as seeing to those responsible for regulating industry properly, do properly regulate industry.

Currently around here it is illegal to operate a self sustaining organic farm but only once a case is made, can it be presented to the courts, this is the primary reason for this blog along with a sort of diary to keep track of the progress made or in some cases, not made. And the results of which will not be finalized, or at least some what known, until the end of next growing season.

The need to transition to an organic growing operation arises from the damage done to soil growing strictly by using chemicals as the means of last resort. Year after year, decade after decade of this leaves trace nutrients missing and the plant strains to remain healthy. I have done many things to alleviate problems in the garden to continue growing the same plants at the same location yet the more time that went on, an additional problem always found a way to arise, until now, this organic solution holds the last hope of not only reviving, but sustaining, the need of not having to move to another location.

So this is going to be a multi purpose blog, one of both transitioning plants to an organic environment, and using organic materials to save a chemically used up area, the new plants will be container
grown, and the organic material derived from the new plants, will be added and used to hopefully save this old garden.

So what makes up the ingredients that are so foul as to be declared illegal to produce by a good many peoples far and wide? I shall explore this in the next post along with the needs and destructive signs nature gives to show its displeasure.
